Ms. Ford Terry has a background in business and corporate law. She joined Draper and Kramer in 2002 as Senior Vice President and General Counsel. She is responsible for overseeing the corporation’s legal matters and also serves as an executive on various non-legal corporate projects.
Prior to joining Draper and Kramer, Ms. Ford Terry was Executive
Vice President for litigation and intellectual property at the Metro-Goldwyn
Mayer movie studio; Acting Director of Emerging Domestic Markets
at the Milken Institute, an economic policy think tank; and an Attorney
at the Wall Street law firm of White & Case.
Ms. Ford Terry is a Trustee of the Field Museum of Natural History
and is on the Board of Directors of the Chicago Humanities Festival
and the Heartland Literary Society. She is a Theater Critic for
the Chicago Reader and contributes book reviews to The
Chicago Tribune. She also has written a
number of articles for The Milken Institute Review,
The American Lawyer and The New York Law Journal.
She was a Writer and Editor of the American Bar Association’s
Committee on Ethics and Professionalism Newsletter.
Ms. Ford Terry is a graduate of Harvard University and the University
of Chicago Law School. She is a member of the bar of
Illinois, New York, California, Massachusetts, the District of Columbia
and the United States Supreme Court.
