Mr. Vitek has extensive experience in managing real estate portfolios as well as overseeing the development of residential properties.
As Vice President and Director in the Development Group, Mr. Vitek focuses on acquisitions and development, a position he has held since joining Draper and Kramer in 1997. He is development manager on more than $300 million in Chicagoland properties plus a pipeline of more than $200 million in potential developments.
Before coming to Draper and Kramer, Mr. Vitek was President of Alpine Properties, Inc., from 1996 to 1997. His primarily responsibilities included disposing of $85 million worth of property, and consulting on more than $100 million of potential residential acquisitions. Prior to this, Mr. Vitek worked with Household Commercial Financial Services, Inc., managing troubled loans and a portfolio of properties totaling more than $250 million. He began his career with Inland Real Estate Investment Corporation as a Financial Analyst, where he provided financial analysis for more than 300 partnerships owning more than 35,000 apartment units.
Mr. Vitek is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame with a
bachelor’s in business administration, specializing in finance.
